Czech Lentil Soup

Ingredients

• 🫘 200 g lentils
• 🥕 150 g carrots
• 🥕 200 g potatoes
• 🥕 100 g celery
• 🧄 100 g onion
• 🥣 1000 ml vegetable broth
• 🌿 2 bay leaves
• 🌿 5 g thyme

Method

1. 1 Rinse lentils and soak in water for 2 hours.
2. 2 Sauté onions, carrots, celery in a pot until soft.
3. 3 Add lentils, vegetable broth, and bay leaves, cook until lentils are tender.
4. 4 Add potatoes, season with thyme, and simmer until cooked.
