Ingredients

  • 🌾 150 g oatmeal
  • 🌾 150 g plain flour
  • 🍯 120 g black treacle
  • 🍯 120 g golden syrup
  • 🥛 100 g butter
  • 🍯 100 g brown sugar
  • 🧂 1 tbsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp baking powder

Method

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. 2 Gently melt the butter, treacle, syrup, and sugar together.
  3. 3 Mix dry ingredients and combine with the melted mixture.
  4. 4 Pour into a lined baking tin and bake for 1 hour, then leave to cool.
