Ingredients

  • 🥕 500 ml tomato puree
  • 🫘 150 g lentils
  • 🫘 150 g chickpeas
  • 🧄 1 large onion
  • 🧂 1 tsp ginger
  • 🧂 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 🌾 50 g flour
  • 🌿 0.5 cup cilantro

Method

  1. 1 Sauté onions in oil until translucent, then add spices.
  2. 2 Stir in tomato puree, lentils, and chickpeas.
  3. 3 Add water and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  4. 4 Mix flour with cold water, add to pot and cook until thickened.
