Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 160Β°C. Brown the lamb shoulder pieces in butter.
  2. 2 Layer half of the potatoes in a baking dish, add lamb, onions, and carrots.
  3. 3 Pour the stock over the lamb and season with salt and pepper.
  4. 4 Top with remaining potatoes, cover, bake for 2 hours, then uncover for 30 mins.
