How it tastes

Origin & History — first documented: 1555

Ingredients

  • 🌾 15 g coffee
  • 150 ml water
  • 🍯 as desired sugar

Method

  1. 1 Combine finely ground coffee, water, and sugar (optional) in a cezve.
  2. 2 Heat over low flame until coffee begins to froth, then remove from heat.
  3. 3 Pour the coffee into a cup, allowing the foam to create a head on top, and serve with water.
