Say locally

A noodle-based dish similar to paella, often cooked with seafood.

Why try it?

Fideuà showcases Valencia's coastal influence and the importance of seafood in its culinary traditions. It offers a variation on the beloved paella that is equally rooted in community and sharing.

How it tastes

Infused with the essence of the sea, fideuà is savory and rich, with noodles soaking up the flavors of seafood and spices. It's served piping hot, often with a squeeze of lemon for a fresh, zesty finish.

Origin & History — first documented: 1930

Created by fishermen off the coast of Gandía in the early 20th century, fideuà was made using the leftover catch of the day, originally for personal sustenance. Eventually, it became favored for its unique interplay of pasta and seafood, rivaling paella's fame.
