A cloudy, sour wheat beer traditionally served with syrup.

Why try it?

A taste of Berliner Weisse is a taste of Berlin's past, celebrated for its refreshingly unique sourness. It paints a picture of leisurely afternoons spent in the city's beer gardens.

How it tastes

With a sharp, tangy sourness and hints of fruity esters, this beer has a light body with a refreshing finish. Often served with raspberry or woodruff syrup, it balances sweetness with its natural tartness.

Origin & History — first documented: 1520

Dating back to the 16th century, Berliner Weisse gained fame by the 19th century as 'The Champagne of the North.' It was created as a result of spontaneous fermentation, favoring the climate of Berlin for production.
