Ingredients

  • 🦐 1 kg Mud crabs
  • 🥛 400 ml Coconut milk
  • 🧄 1 large Onion
  • 🧄 4 cloves Garlic
  • 🧂 2 inches Ginger
  • 🧂 3 tbsp Curry powder
  • 🧂 1 tbsp Chili powder
  • 🧂 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 🫒 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 🌿 A small bunch Coriander leaves

Method

  1. 1 Clean the mud crabs thoroughly and cut them into halves.
  2. 2 Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped onions, garlic, and ginger until aromatic.
  3. 3 Add spices and coconut milk, then simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. 4 Add the crab pieces and cook until the sauce thickens, about 15 minutes.
  5. 5 Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with rice.
