Ingredients

  • 🍯 250 g honey
  • 🌾 300 g flour
  • 🍯 150 g brown sugar
  • 🥛 100 g butter
  • 🥚 2 egg
  • 🧂 1 tbsp ground ginger
  • 🧂 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 🥜 100 g ground nuts

Method

  1. 1 Melt honey and butter over low heat, then cool.
  2. 2 Beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. 3 Combine with dry ingredients and cooled honey mixture.
  4. 4 Pour batter into a greased pan and bake at 180°C for 40 minutes.
